March 15, 2020: This message centers on the ancient practice of fasting. We will look at Acts 13:1-3; Matthew 16:16-18; and I will also use Nehemiah 1:4; Ezra 8:23; and Luke 18:12 in looking at this spiritual discipline that has been neglected by most Christians in recent decades.

March 8, 2020: My primary text will come from John 14 and Romans 8 as we explore the person of the Holy Spirit: how he was promised by Jesus and how he functions within us today.

February 23, 2020: This message is intended to explore some of the human condition as I respond to a question I have received numerous times in the past: How long is God willing to forgive the same sin? Romans 7, Hebrews 10, Romans 3:23-24, and 1 John 1:8-9 are the scriptures used in this sermon.

February 16, 2020: This message will focus on John 10:10 and how Jesus is everything "the thief" is not. I will remind the audience of the seven "I AM" statements in John's gospel.

February 16, 2020 07:58 AM PST

February 9, 2020: This message will use portions of Numbers 13 and 14 as well as part of Joshua 14 as we look at the faith and courage of Joshua and Caleb in carrying out God's will. I will also use 2 Timothy 1:7 as we consider a concept known as mission drift---straying from one's previous mission or purpose.

February 09, 2020 07:48 AM PST

February 2, 2020: This message will look at how we should have confidence in the faith we claim to possess as children of God. I will use Mark 5:21-34; Matthew 8:5-13; and Hebrews 11:6 as we look at a faith that makes an impression on Jesus.

January 26, 2020: This message will serve as a conclusion to our series on Micah 6:8. The teaching here will concern humility and we will look at multiple references from Holy Scripture that serve as examples of humility.
