This message will conclude our study from the book of Joel. This final part teaches us that God intends to dole out punishment to those who have wronged his people and Yahweh intends to bless his people and promises to be a refuge for them in times of trouble. The explored text will be from Joel, chapter three.

October 27, 2019 09:40 AM PDT

As we look at the latter part of Joel's prophecy we see that Yahweh is blessing a repentant nation and reinforces his saving nature. I will use portions of Joel 2:18-32 and Galatians 3:26-29.

This message represents part two in our series from the book of Joel. Joel 2:12-17 will be the focus of this teaching in which we look at how sometimes in life what we thought was a calamity turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

This message will begin a four-week series from the book of Joel. My main text will be Joel 1:1-20 and we will look at how Yahweh pursues his people and calls them to repentance. This teaching will recall our own baptism and how God is a saving God.

This message revisits the concept of changing our hearts to desire the will of God. I will use Psalm 23, 1 John 2:16-17, Luke 12:22-31, and James 1:14-15 to illustrate how sin originates from our own desires rather than from temptation.

September 22, 2019 10:00 AM PDT

This message will focus on suffering and how our sufferings can actually serve as a gift and how we cannot be fully human without suffering. The main text will come from Romans 8. I will also use Romans 5:3-5 and 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

September 22, 2019 07:32 AM PDT

This message is about accepting people for who they are and not looking at our relationships as improvement projects. I will use Romans 5:6-8; Roman's 15:5-7; Matthew 9:9-13 and Luke 5:27-28.

September 08, 2019 10:05 AM PDT

We will look at how every child of God must make the decision to surrender our lives. The main scripture text will be from Luke 4:38-44 and Luke 5:1-11. Isaiah 6:6-7 will also be used.

September 01, 2019 09:41 AM PDT

I will use Proverbs 23:19-21; Ezekiel 16:49-50; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Colossians 3:5; and Titus 1:12 as we look at what many believe is the most tolerated sin among Christians today.
